The American College of Vedic Astrology, headquartered in Sedona, Arizona, is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to teaching the art and science of Vedic Astrology or Jyotish. ACVA’s purpose is to provide the highest quality of education and training in Vedic Astrology to students and professional astrologers worldwide; emphasizing ethics and professionalism in the mastery of the principles and practice of Vedic Astrology. The primary objective of the American College of Vedic Astrology is to advance the study of Vedic Sciences by providing a certification program which utilizes symposia, research and online education.
On November 22, 1999, ACVA received confirmation from the Internal Revenue Service that the American College of Vedic Astrology was granted 501(c)(3) non-profit educational status. This allows the college to receive charitable gifts, grants and endowments for resource development.
