Module 102 is divided into three weeks. This module introduces the first of the cornerstones of Vedic astrology: the graha, or planets. Module 106: Chart Analysis Part 1
Module 106 teaches the basic principles of how to judge a chart using all the building blocks studied so far. This Interpretation Module offers an approach to apply Vedic astrological knowledge and its associated practices in a systematic and integrated manner. It explains the astronomical background that the chart represents and how to incorporate the influences of Yogas and other special planetary placements and relationships.
Module 107: Nakshatras
Module 107 introduces the Nakshatra or lunar mansions of Vedic astrology. To appreciate the depth and uniqueness of Vedic astrology, one must encounter and explore the nakshatras. The twenty-seven nakshatras are considered to be the original and primordial level of the Hindu zodiacal belt. The Module also introduces the sixteen verge or divisional charts. In particular, the ninth divisional chart, called the Navamsha, will be studied.
Module 108: Chart Analysis Part 2
Module 108 applies what was learned in Module 106 to a specific aspect of the chart. A general approach to chart interpretation is to review a select set of significations or karakas for that chart. This approach is often initiated by a client who primarily wants to focus, for example, on a few areas of their life.
Module 109: Forecasting
Module 109 explores the dynamic indicators that show the timing of events and developments of the life. The system of Vedic astrology encompasses more than interpretation of the meanings embedded in the natal chart. It clarifies the difference between static and dynamic astrological indicators.
