Course 201

Review, Refine, and Synthesize

The purpose of Course 201 is to review and refine all the principles learned in the Jyotisha Ratna level. You will also be taught how everything can be synthesized into one coherent chart analysis routine. This course will build on the approach introduced in Level I, Course 106, adding the use of nakshatras and vargas, and demonstrating through a number of chart interpretation techniques how everything can work together.

Course 202

Introduction to Rectification & Advanced Chart Interpretation

Class One will discuss basic principles for chart rectification. Class Two will review the basic principles for assessing the effects of planetary periods (dashas and bhuktis). Class Three will study the impact of the gochara of the grahas and synthesize the various predictive techniques into a coherent interpretation. This course will discuss each principle in the context of an astrological chart case study, by showing how an event was indicated.

Course 203

Advanced Chart Interpretation

Course 203 continues with advanced forecasting techniques including Ashtakavarga and Varshaphala.

Course 204

Panchanga and Muhurta

This course continues to examine in greater detail some elements touched on in Level I. It will focus on the Panchanga and its natural application in Muhurta, the astrology of selecting an appropriate time for an activity.

Course 205

Prashna or Horary Astrology

Course 205 explains what Prashna is and how it works fundamentally, describing the criteria for determining a valid Prashna question, stating the basic principles for conducting a successful Prashna reading, and demonstrating the ability to interpret a Prashna chart.

Course 206

Career and Life Purpose

In Course 206 we will discuss fundamentals of Vedic philosophy, modern career principles, and life purpose. The course is a combination of practicum, discussion questions, and hands-on work. These exercises become valuable assets since they increase the amount of practice in analyzing real-life charts.

Course 207

Ayurvedic Astrology

This course will outline and discuss the historical origins of Ayurveda. It will demonstrate an understanding of the Vedic philosophical background, integrated with Ayurvedic principles of healing as they relate to Jyotish. It will teach an understanding of the principles and practices of interpreting a Vedic astrology chart as related to physical, mental, and emotional health and Ayurvedic body types (doshas). It will demonstrate how to write clearly and convincingly about the issues presented to you in classroom discussions and assignments centered on Vedic astrology and health.

Course 208

Vedic Astrology and Compatibility

This course demonstrates how to analyze and compare two Vedic natal charts to determine if the relationship between those charts and the possibility of a successful relationship is excellent, satisfactory, marginal, or unsatisfactory.

Comprehensive Chart Interpretation:
Part One

This course is designed as the first stage in the culmination, integration, and display of your advanced learning of Vedic astrology principles and practice. Example charts will be given to test your overall mastery of the process of comprehensive interpretation of a Vedic astrology horoscope.

Comprehensive Chart Interpretation:
Part Two

This course is designed as the second and final stage in the culmination, integration, and display of your advanced learning of Vedic astrology principles and practice. Example charts will be given to test your overall mastery of the process of comprehensive interpretation of a Vedic astrology horoscope.
